The Triple Knot
Our signature knotting method holds three times more wool per knot. The result is a denser surface, a richer pile, and a rug that resists crushing and retains its form over years of daily life.
The Art of Making
Five pillars, one intention
Authentic. More than a word, it is a declaration. A way of working and a reason for being. At NATURUG, every rug begins with a decision. Not to manufacture, but to create. To give a craftsman time, space, and purpose. To choose natural wool over synthetic convenience, the loom over the machine, and the knot over the shortcut.
This philosophy rests on five founding pillars: the triple knot, natural materials, the hand-knotted gesture, fair trade, and made to endure. Together they define what makes a NATURUG rug unlike anything mass-produced. It belongs on the floors of people who understand the difference.
Five pillars that shape every piece we conceive, every thread we source, and every hour of artisan work we protect. Five pillars that make NATURUG not just a rug brand, but a house.
"More material where it matters most. Inside the structure, not just on the surface."
Our signature knotting method holds three times more wool per knot. The result is a denser surface, a richer pile, and a rug that resists crushing and retains its form over years of daily life.
Every fibre is sourced from Moroccan sheep raised on open pasture. Pure, undyed where possible, and processed without compromise. The material itself carries the warmth and resilience of something alive.
Each rug is woven on a traditional vertical loom by artisans trained in ancestral Moroccan technique. The hand-knotted gesture cannot be replicated by machine. It carries time, intention, and the mark of the maker.
We work directly with the craftspeople who create our rugs. Fair wages, safe conditions, and dignity for every pair of hands. Our supply chain is short, transparent, and rooted in deep respect for the artisans of Morocco.
A NATURUG is not designed for a season. It is crafted to be passed down. The triple knot holds its shape. The natural wool resists wear. Each piece is conceived as a permanent work. One that improves with the years spent living on it.
Craftsmanship
Our triple knot is not a decorative detail. It is a structural decision. One that places more wool at the heart of every square centimetre, producing a surface that is denser, more generous underfoot, and visually more precise than any standard rug construction.

The House
Every rug is born in Morocco, on a traditional loom, under the hands of artisans who have dedicated years to their craft. NATURUG is a house built on transparency. From the sourcing of raw wool to the final inspection before shipping. This is not production. This is creation.
