You have 24 hours after placing your order to request a modification or cancellation. Because every rug is handmade to order specifically for you, orders cannot be modified or cancelled after this 24-hour window. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to make changes.

Each NATURUG rug is made entirely by hand from 100% natural wool. This means beautiful, subtle variations in texture and tone are part of the charm - they are markers of authentic craftsmanship, not flaws. Final sizing and pile height may vary by up to 5% due to the handmade nature of the product. Every rug is perfectly imperfect and made just for you.

Each rug is handmade to order. Production times depend on size:

Standard rugs (8' × 10' and smaller): 4 to 8 weeks
Large rugs (larger than 8' × 10'): 8 to 10 weeks

These timelines reflect the care and precision that go into every piece. Once your rug is complete, it undergoes a thorough quality inspection before shipping. Delivery time is additional (see Shipping section below).

Once your rug passes our quality inspection and leaves our atelier in Morocco, you'll receive an email with your DHL tracking number so you can follow its journey to your door.

We ship worldwide. Our primary markets include the United States, Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom. If your country isn't listed at checkout, please contact us and we'll arrange delivery for you.

All international orders are shipped via DHL from our atelier in Morocco. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size and weight of your rug.

Once your rug leaves Morocco via DHL, estimated delivery times are:

Europe (EU & UK): 3 to 5 business days
United States: 5 to 8 business days
Canada: 5 to 8 business days
Rest of World: 7 to 14 business days

Depending on your country, import duties and taxes may apply upon delivery. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are the responsibility of the buyer. Here's what to expect by region:

United States: Rugs valued under $800 generally enter duty-free. Above this threshold, duty rates typically range from 4–8%.

Canada: Handmade Moroccan wool rugs may qualify for reduced or zero duty under Canada's General Preferential Tariff (GPT). GST (5%) or HST (13–15%) applies depending on province.

European Union: Morocco has a free trade agreement with the EU, which can reduce or eliminate import duties on textiles. VAT applies at the rate of the destination country (typically 19–25%).

United Kingdom: Import duty may apply, plus 20% VAT.

Because every NATURUG rug is handmade to order specifically for you, all sales are final and we cannot accept returns. We encourage you to review all details - design, size, and color - carefully before placing your order. Our team is happy to help you with any questions before you commit. While we take every precaution to package your rug securely, if your rug arrives damaged during transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs of the damage. We will work with DHL to resolve the issue and ensure you receive a rug in perfect condition.

All natural wool rugs will shed slightly, especially in the first few weeks - this is completely normal and not a defect. It's simply the nature of 100% natural wool. Regular vacuuming during the initial period will gradually reduce shedding, and your rug will only become softer and more beautiful over time.

Regular maintenance: Vacuum gently using a low-power setting without a beater brush attachment. Vacuum slowly, parallel to the tassels or bindings, to remove dust and dirt effectively.

Spot cleaning: Wool naturally repels liquids on first contact, so act quickly. Blot with a dry cloth immediately, then follow with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent. Never rub - always blot.

Deep cleaning: After a few years or in case of serious soiling, we recommend professional cleaning by a specialist experienced with handmade wool rugs.

Extremely durable. Our signature triple knot technique creates a denser, stronger structure than standard double-knotted rugs. With regular care and cleaning, a NATURUG rug is crafted to last for decades. The key to longevity is regular vacuuming to prevent dirt from building up in the fibers.
